American Roofing & Metal installed the renowned Alamodome’s flat, single ply roof system during original construction in 1993. When the roof system reached the end of its life cycle, American Roofing was chosen for the re-roofing and repairs project.
American Roofing & Metal installed a new 60 mil white TPO fully adhered single ply roof system with insulation on all flat roof areas. We also installed metal cover plates and metal flashings on the sloped standing seam metal roof. Additionally, employees rappelled from the building to install new vertical metal expansion joints along the tower connections.
American Roofing & Metal’s expert coordination removed all materials and equipment from the site daily. Construction activities had no effect on the Alamodome’s event schedule; throughout the project, the building remained open for business and hosted numerous large scale events.
The project was executed without incident and received a perfect installation score from our materials manufacturer.
