When the Annunciation Church in Saint Hedwig needed roof maintenance on their sanctuary roof and a roof replacement of their steeple American Roofing & Metal was entrusted with the project. We coordinated a sophisticated scaffolding system to work on the project and keep the church open for regular services/events. The existing roof on the steeple was removed and the components were either replaced or restored and replaced depending on their condition.
The roof system that was replaced is a metal stamped shingle with a historic design. All of the historic flashings were recreated by skilled American Roofing & Metal craftsmen onsite or in our sheet metal shop. The project included creating new metal crosses, a decorative lightning protection finial and other decorative metal elements.
