When the downtown San Antonio Municipal Building was in need of renovation the general contractor on the project chose American Roofing & Metal to perform the roofing portion of the project. The project is located in a congested area downtown and the building needed to remain open during the renovations. Due to the existing conditions the project required careful coordination and execution by the entire construction team.
The existing roof was removed and replaced with a new modified bitumen roof system. The project was completed quickly and within budget with an excellent quality rating from the roofing materials manufacturer.
